Share your experience with flooding

To build the most accurate understanding of the nature and extent of flooding in the area, we are asking the community to provide information and their experiences with flood events and management of flood risks. Have you experienced flooding at your home in the past? Do you have information or even photos to share with our team? Your input will help Council complete the Studies.

Information we are looking for includes:

• Flood marks
• Photos
• Videos
• Newspaper clippings
• Observations such as timing, depth, extent
• Feedback on flood management.

It can be as simple as “in the 2017 flood, the water came up to my back steps”.

Your individual feedback is private. The details you provide in this survey are not visible to the public or others completing the survey. General comments, not publicly attributed to specific people, may be included in the community consultation report for transparency and community understanding. The information provided in this survey will be used by Rockhampton Regional Council and its contractor (AECOM Australia Pty Ltd (AECOM)) for the purposes of the Studies.
