What improvements or changes would you like to see in the planning scheme over the next 10 years?

Are there any new types of development or land uses you think should be included in the planning scheme?

Are there any areas in your suburb or town where the planning rules feel out of date or no longer make sense?

For example, are there places where the zoning doesn’t match how the area is actually being used, or where the rules should be updated to better suit the community?

Are there any types of development happening in certain areas where the current approval process is more complicated than it needs to be?

For example, are there developments that could be handled with a simpler, faster process (like being automatically allowed if they meet certain rules), but currently require a more detailed or public assessment?

Do the current planning rules still make sense and reflect what’s considered good practice today?

Are the requirements fair and up to date, or are there parts of the planning scheme, like the rules or codes that feel outdated or too strict?

Are the planning rules easy to understand and clear about what’s required for certain types of development?

For example, if a project is allowed as long as it meets certain rules, are those rules specific and easy to measure, or are they confusing or vague?
