10 Year Review of Rockhampton Region Planning Scheme
Council is undertaking a required 10-year review of the Rockhampton Region Planning Scheme. As part of this process, we’re preparing a major amendment and we want your input.
We’re currently in the early consultation phase, giving the community an opportunity to have a say before the formal amendment process begins.
This is your chance to help improve how the planning scheme works and ensure it reflects the needs and priorities of our region.
We’re seeking feedback on:
How easy the current planning scheme is to use and understand
What parts might need improvement
Whether the scheme reflects the region’s long-term goals
Any other ideas or suggestions you’d like to share
Your input will help Council make better decisions, strengthen community relationships, and ensure the planning scheme supports a shared vision for Rockhampton Region’s future.
