Initial Community Consultation
Initial community consultation involves gathering first-hand experience with flooding events, along with any information that will assist Council in corroborating the flooding model and technical investigations. Complete the survey to share personal insights and experiences.
18 October → 20 October 2023
Phase 2: Information Sessions
The community information sessions will be held across the catchment areas in October 2023. Members of the community are welcome to attend any session that best suits their availability:
- Moores Creek Session - Wednesday, 18 October 2023 - Kershaw Gardens - 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Frenchmans and Thozets Creek Session - Thursday, 19 October 2023 - Rigarlsford Park - 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- South Rockhampton Session - Friday, 20 October 2023 - Alf Kele Memorial (Victoria Park) - 2:00pm – 4:30pm
Community members do not need to RSVP. If you are unable to attend and have questions or feedback please contact Council's Customer Service team.
