Consultation has concluded

Every two years, Australian and US forces come together for a major training exercise. The details of Talisman Sabre 2019 have now been released, and it will take place near Rockhampton.

Talisman Sabre is designed to train Australian and US Forces in planning and conducting Combined Task Force operations, which will help improve ADF/US Military combat readiness and interoperability.

The last Open Day held at the Showgrounds in 2017 was a massive success with thousands of people coming through the gates to meet US, Australian and New Zealand troops and check out the latest ADF rotary winged aircraft.
