They work with all levels of government, universities, businesses, and other professional organisations to deliver reliable research and insights.

What is the Community Insight Survey 2026?

The Community Insight Survey 2026 is a professionally designed survey asking residents about life in the Rockhampton Region to better understand what our community thinks, needs and values most.

The results will provide valuable insights to help guide Rockhampton Regional Council's future planning, priorities, services and decision-making.

What type of questions are asked?

The survey covers a range of topics relating to Rockhampton Regional Council, with most questions requiring only a simple tick-box response or a short written answer.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and respondents can exit the survey at any time. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes or less to complete, and all responses are confidential.

Why did Rockhampton Regional Council conduct this survey?

The 2026 Community Insight Survey builds on the previous Community Satisfaction Survey commissioned by Rockhampton Regional Council in 2024 by moving beyond a simple satisfaction measure to gather deeper insights into community priorities through a fully opt-in format.

This approach aims to maximise participation and capture a broad range of community views.
