Rockhampton Regional Council is committed to educating residents about disasters in our region.

In order to truly understand the impact of disasters in our region, we need to hear from you.

Rockhampton Regional Council has kicked off two major projects to improve resilience in our Region, and is asking you to submit your thoughts.

The Queensland Emergency Risk Management process and Bushfire Management Study are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. The first project considers all hazards, and the second focuses specifically on bushfires.

The goal of these projects is to reduce community impact in future natural disasters.
